Alright so we are still a ways away from July but I like to start early haha. Going for my Pro Card this year, I will be competing in Open Figure (probably short category lol) Start weight is 130 lbs (this morning scale) and training is hard core right now, cardio is up to 5 times a week, but short only 20 to 30 mins max. I do cross fit twice a week with a client for cardio twice a week and run with her also 3 times. Diet hasn't officially started however I have started the clean up of diets. Can't wait to see everyone on stage! keep in touch

I give you credit for doing crossfit! My boyfriend tries to get me to do it and I nearly pass out half way through! It is intense!!!

Hey Shaun!!!! Training is great, always fighting through...can't wait to help out in May....means that its competition season again and feels great.
So the decision for me has been made, it was a tough on and I don't want to discourage anyone for doing what they want. I love competing, and being on stage (lol ask anyone I'm dancing back stage and having a whoot) I love figure, however my body is just too small for it, to lean out enough I would look to sickly so I am going to do Fitness Model for now and see how it going. Found the perfect suit for myself.
This doesn't mean that I wont be helping those out who are doing figure, lol I know how to do the posing and the ins and outs, I just am not planning on competing myself in that division.

Hey Kat! Great to hear you are competing in July. I think we volunteered together last November at the World Championships in Toronto? I was pretty new to figure and decided to volunteer to check out how things work backstage. It was a great experience and sealed the deal for me to commit to a figure competition this year. Sounds like I'll see you in May when I compete in the Novice Classic. Keep posting your progress (I really wish my gym had crossfit!). See you in May!

Hey Robin, lol probably, I was backstage most time but ran around. I love volunteering, so def look for me backstage if you need help. Yup I am doing July, I love competing and back in healthy shape to do it!!! I do crossfit on my own, but the Athletic Institute attached to us does do crossfit and I think I will try to do it once a week with them
So today we are 22 weeks out, I have 2 weeks before diet cleans completely out and seriousness starts lol. Been a big fight between injuries (damn is sucks getting old eh) and sickness (1/2 of work off with flu) but perservering and know when I just need to take time off. Gotta remember even though we got a goal, if you dont rest when you need to you will do more damage then good!
So starting back tomorrow, big leg day whoo hoo. I am writing out my crossfit programs today so that I can do it 3 times a week for my cardio, and stepmill 2 more times.
